This moist banana bread is easy to make and it may become everyone’s new favorite banana bread.
Banana Chocolate Chip Bread
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup mashed bananas 3 medium ripe bananas
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs at room temperature
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon turbinado sugar for sprinkling on bread
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
- In mixing bowl, mix the mashed bananas with the brown sugar and mix until smooth.
- Add in the eggs mix until well combined.
- Pour in the melted butter and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt and mix until just combined.
- Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and sprinkle turbinado sugar over the top.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove the bread from the oven and let sit in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice, serve and enjoy!
