Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups old fashioned oats ( can use quick oats)
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Lightly spray a 9 x 13-inch pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking soda, and cinnamon.
- In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs on at a time and then add the vanilla extract.
- Add the dry ingredients and beat until just combined.
- Gently stir in the oats and the chocolate chips.
- Press the batter into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
- Allow bars to cool.
- Cut and enjoy.
