I always have some Pork loin roast on hand to make an easy, quick and delicious meal.
Instant Pot Pork Loin Roast
Ingredients
- 2 lbs Pork loin roast
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup Beef or vegetable broth
Instructions
- Season pork loin with salt and pepper set aside.
- Add olive oil to the instant pot and select saute.
- When warm, add seasoned Pork loin and brown 1.5 to 2 minutes per side.
- Once evenly browned, cancel the saute setting.
- Add broth, close the lid and set the vent to the sealed position.
- Select Meat/stew and set for 20 minutes.
- Once the cooking time is complete, quick release pressure and let the pork rest five minutes in Instant Pot.
- Open the lid, remove pork and check for internal temperature for 145 degrees and let rest for about three minutes.
- Carefully pour juice into a pot.
- Mix one cup hot water with two tablespoon flour and mix until smooth.
- Add water mixture to pot with juice and cook until thickened.
- Slice Pork loin and serve with gravy.
- Enjoy.
Notes
I also use an already seasoned Pork loin roast. So just skip the salt and pepper then follow the remaining directions.
When cooking a larger Pork loin roast (3 - 3.5 lbs) increase broth to 3/4 cups and
cook for 25 minutes instead of 20 then let it rest in Instant Pot for 5 minutes.
