This is a simple way to make beautiful colorful Easter Eggs. The kids will have fun making the dye as well as dying the eggs.
Easter Eggs-Egg Dye
Ingredients
- 10 drops food coloring
- 2 teaspoons white vinegar
- 1 cup boiling water
- Cookie sheet
- Wax paper
Instructions
- Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and set aside.
- For each dye bath combine 1 cup boiling water with 2 teaspoons vinegar and 10 drops of food coloring.
- Using tongs, dip hard-boiled eggs in dye for 3-5 minutes or longer for richer color.
- Use tongs to remove eggs and place on prepared cookie sheet. and let dry.
Notes
Orange = 5 drops red and 5 drops yellow
Turquoise = 6 drops blue and 4 drops green
Turquoise = 6 drops blue and 4 drops green
