It is not just for breakfast. I made it the other night for dinner and the family really enjoyed it. You could even serve it for Brunch. I add fresh raw broccoli and cooked ham cubed. It was delicious.
Breakfast Egg Casserole

Ingredients
- 6 to 10 eggs
- 2-3 cups grated cheddar cheese (or your choice)
- 6 slices bread, cut into cubes
- 2 cups milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°
- Grease a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
- Beat the eggs in a large bowl.
- Mix in the milk and cheese.
- Add the bread and carefully stir until all pieces of bread are moistened.
- Add additions if using ( ex ham, bacon, sausage, peppers, onions, etc)
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until done and top is browned.
- Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
