Cabbage was a favorite in my house growing up especially on Saint Patrick’s Day. This year we grew cabbage and it grew really well! I make this to go with my Glazed Corned Beef recipe.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon pepper
- 6 cups coarsely chopped cabbage
- 1 tablespoon water
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in sugar, salt and pepper.
- Add the cabbage and water.
- Cook for 5-6 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
